Marino Law Strengthens Litigation Offering

Marino Law has strengthened its litigation offering with the appointment of Mark Steele as Senior Associate.

Mark brings to the Gold Coast based firm years of experience and specialises in insolvency law, debt recovery, commercial litigation, dispute resolution and commercial tenancy disputes. Admitted in 2011, Mark achieved first class Honours and is currently studying a Masters of Applied Law, Commercial Litigation.

Previously Mark worked for top tier international law firm, Allens and prior to his admission as a Solicitor, he spent fifteen years working in the funds management and banking industries with various banks within Australia and Singapore. Mark is also proficient in Japanese.

Managing Partner, Rob Marino, said Mark’s appointment is testament to the growth Marino Law is experiencing, particularly within its litigation division.

“We have seen an increased demand for advice from our litigation division, particularly with matters concerning insolvency and the construction industry,” Mr Marino said.

“Mark’s appointment will allow our clients to have access to an expanded team of experienced solicitors and Mark’s experience both in the legal and banking industries will be an asset to the firm, which our clients will only benefit from.”

Mark said he is looking forward to working with Marino Law and feels its philosophy aligns with his career objectives.

“Marino Law is going from strength to strength and is still a relatively young firm. I am excited to hit the ground running and work with Rob and Ben to ensure Marino Law continues to be a sought after name in litigation,” Mr Steele said.

Mark’s appointment follows the recent expansion of offices at Marino Law’s Mermaid Beach location.

“The expansion of our office space will allow us to continue to increase our workforce as the firm continues to grow,” Mr Marino said.
