Marino Law has upgraded its office space with a move to brand new premises next door at Suite 6 Level 1, 2481 Gold Coast Highway Mermaid Beach.
The move follows another successful year for the boutique law firm, with a number of achievements and new appointments in recent months.
Managing Partner, Rob Marino said the new office, which has just completed construction, has been designed to encourage productivity and allow for continued growth.
“The new space will provide our staff a comfortable and productive work area, with spacious offices and modern breakout areas,” Mr Marino said.
“The goal is that this will result in an even better service being delivered to our clients.”
The larger workspace was also required, as the Gold Coast based firm continues to grow.
“We have made several new staff appointments in recent months, including a new senior family lawyer, a litigation lawyer and a Practice Manager,” Mr Marino said.
“This follows a series of new staff joining over the past 12 months, including the addition of a migration lawyer late last year.”
Experienced family lawyer, Rachael Brennan, has joined the team as Senior Associate, following a move to the Gold Coast from Newcastle.
Rachael’s experience spans more than 16 years, having owned her own practice in Newcastle, and encompasses all areas of family law including parental disputes, property settlements, de facto relationships and mediation.
“I have had to hit the ground running at Marino Law and it’s an exciting environment to be a part of,” Mrs Brennan said.
Marino Law was ranked on the Doyle’s Guide in leading Family and Divorce Law Firms on the Gold Coast again for 2019. While Family Law Partner and Accredited Specialist, Abbi Golightly, was ranked as Recommended Leading Family and Divorce Lawyer on the same guide for the fourth year in a row.
The firm’s litigation division has also experienced growth in recent months, with the appointment of Blake Lashmar as Associate.
Blake has a number of years of experience dealing in matters including adverse possession, statutory demands, building and construction, lease and contract disputes, Body Corporate matters and defamation.
Additionally, the firm has appointed Angela Kurtz as Practice Manager. Angela joins after spending the past five years as the HR / Learning and Development Advisor at a leading Queensland Law firm and will be charged with implementing a range of Human Resource and development programs at Marino Law.
Mr Marino said the growing number of lawyers and support staff at Marino Law will allow them to provide a more specialist service to their clients going forward.
